OBN will be joined by a line-up of industry experts from the National Innovation Centre for Ageing the NHSA and Invest Newcastle to discuss:
‘Digital health and the ageing population – how to maximise the potential’
The session supports the work of the new National Innovation Centre for Ageing, a part government funded investment in Newcastle University enabling Newcastle researchers to take a global approach to the multi-faceted issues of an ageing population and will also include several showcase presentations from innovative R&D companies specialising in age-related diseases.
Venue and time – The event opens at 17.30, with presentations starting at 18.00 and is taking place at The Core, Science Central, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Who can attend – This is a free to attend event for regional and national life sciences companies with an interest in digital health and the ageing population, along with companies who support the life sciences industry and those interested in investment opportunities. We also have a limited number of places available for final year students from regional Universities who have a relevant speciality area.
