The International Centre for Life brings NHS Genetics Laboratories and University academics under the same roof, to promote interactions. The site comprises the Biomedicine East and West Buildings housing NHS and University labs and offices, spin off companies and two lecture theatres. There is also a museum and facility for organising outreach activities.
