Invest Newcastle launch plans for brand new UK built environment conference

Inward investment agency Invest Newcastle, who are part of NewcastleGateshead Initiative has revealed plans to lead a delegation to UKREiiF, the UK’s Real Estate Investment, and Infrastructure Forum in May 2022.

Wednesday 6th April, the public and private sector gathered in central Newcastle to hear about the regional presence that will be heading to UKREiiF, a brand-new real estate and infrastructure event taking place in Leeds 17th – 19th May 2022.

Organised by the Built Environment Networking Group, the event will be held at the Royal Armouries on Leeds Dock bringing together the public sector, core cities and regions from across the UK alongside ministers, MP’s investors, funders, developers, occupiers and decision makers from across the country.

So far sponsors and supporters include Newcastle City Council, the North of Tyne Combined Authority, Newcastle University, Hanro Group, MonstarLab, Ryder Architecture, Northern Rail, Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD), Pegasus Group, Naylors Gavin Black, Broadoak, Bloom and GSS Architecture, showcasing Newcastle and the wider region as a go-to destination for investment and to locate and grow a business.

UKREiiF connects people, places and businesses to accelerate the Levelling Up Agenda, whilst unlocking sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment across the UK. This three-day event with 5,000 thousand attendees,100+ exhibitors and 500 investors in attendance will include both a on and off-site events programme with 250+ speakers as well as fringe events, roundtables and breakout sessions that focus on key themes including social value, Net Zero, levelling up and the future of real estate.

Invest Newcastle will be hosting a range of on site and fringe events, including two events on the main stage that will look to profile investment opportunities for the ambitious Campus for Ageing and Vitality, highlight transformational opportunities and secure private sector investment to support the growth of the life sciences sector.

Transatlantic law firm WBD is sponsoring an event on the main stage that focuses on our regional proposition as a place to invest.
